In celebration of "Life," my mother and I decided to take the Majestic Passage tour this April, sponsored by Alumni Holidays International and the University of Arizona Alumni Association. After a few days in Holland's beautiful Amsterdam, we caught a bus for Düsseldorf, and from there boarded the fine Dutch ship MS Erasmus to begin our magnificent cruise down the Rhine river. At the southern end of our cruise we "jumped ship", caught another bus for Lucerne, Switzerland, and spent the remaining days of our journey basking in the splendor of the Alps. Spanning four countries, it was a wonderful trip made even more so by the wonderful people with whom we traveled.
